Located almost perfectly in the center of Denver, Cheesman Park has a little of everything.
The namesake park, located at 8th Avenue and Franklin Street, is an 80 acre oasis that has been a part of Denver history for over 100 years. According to Architectural critic Vincent Scully, Cheesman Park is one of the best designed urban public spaces in the country. We have to agree - it is the site of many summer concerts, and a great place to watch a summer sunset. The park is bordered on the north and east by residences, and on the west by the Botanic Gardens. The only street frontage is 8th Avenue, meaning that the park has a unique, quiet atmosphere hard to find in many other parks.
With the City Park neighborhood to the north, and Congress Park and Capitol Hill to the east and west, you can count on an endless array of handy entertainment options.
From high-rise condominiums with incredible mountain views, to cozy single family homes and duplexes, the real estate choices in Cheesman Park cover the entire spectrum. Prices can accomodate the first time buyer all the way up to those looking for a million dollar view (and the price tag to go with it).
