Washington Park is the type of Denver neighborhood that seems to have it all.

The focal point of the neighborhood is Washington Park itself - a 162 acre paradise in the middle of Denver.  The park has a 2.8 mile jogging trail around it's perimeter, two lakes, fishing, sailing, bocce, tennis, an athletic club, summer concerts, and more.  There is even a private fishing pond just for the kids, and a boathouse that can be rented out for (very) special occasions.

Year-round, you will find a constant stream of activity at the park.  But when the weather starts to warm up, Washington Park becomes the place to be seen and be healthy.  Arrive after work and stay until sunset - jogging, frisbee, volleyball, or just enjoying a picnic in the grass, you won't want to leave.

If you can manage to drag yourself away from the park, you can walk through the beautiful neighborhood, which consists mostly of wonderful old brick bungalows and tudors interspersed with jaw-dropping new construction well regulated by the historical integrity requirements of the neighborhood.

A few blocks east of the park, you will find the "Old South Gaylord" district, a collection of shops, boutiques, and charming restaurants that will satisfy your every whim.  If that isn't quite enough, keep in mind that the Washington Park neighborhood is only a short way from Cherry Creek, where you can shop and dine in Denver's favorite place to make a paycheck (or trust fund) disappear.

A handy Light Rail Station is located nearby, at the intersection of Louisiana and Pearl Streets, in the adjacent Platt Park neighborhood.  If you're dressed up for a night on the town and would rather drive, downtown Denver is only two miles away via Speer Boulevard, and easy I-25 access for the rest of the city is just south of the neighborhood.

If you are looking to buy or sell real estate in Washington Park, give us a call.  We always appreciate the opportunity to work in one of our favorite Denver neighborhoods.
